About Triple A Academy

Aspire. Achieve. Ambition.

Triple A Academy provides high-quality alternative provision for young people who face barriers within mainstream education.

Triple A Academy exists to help every learner Aspire to a positive future, Achieve meaningful success, and develop the Ambition to thrive beyond education. We provide inclusive, high-quality alternative provision that re-engages young people, builds confidence, and equips them with the skills, resilience, and self-belief needed for long-term outcomes.

We are committed to meeting the highest standards of educational quality, safeguarding, and pastoral care as set out in the Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations 2014 and the DfE guidance on alternative provision. Our approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and tailored to meet the individual needs of young people who may have experienced barriers to learning within traditional educational settings.

Our Provision in Practice

Safeguarding & Welfare

Triple A Academy demonstrates a strong and effective commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Safeguarding arrangements are robust, well understood by staff, and fully compliant with Keeping Children Safe in Education and all relevant statutory guidance. There is a clear culture of vigilance and professional curiosity across the provision, with staff confident in identifying concerns, reporting them appropriately, and taking timely action to ensure pupils are kept safe.

The welfare of pupils is prioritised through a trauma-informed and relational approach that recognises the additional vulnerabilities and complex needs often present within alternative provision. Leaders ensure that staff are appropriately trained and that safeguarding and welfare procedures are consistently implemented and regularly reviewed. Pupils report feeling safe, supported, and listened to, and there are effective systems in place for early help, multi-agency working, and information sharing with local authorities, families, and external professionals. As a result, safeguarding is effective and pupils’ wellbeing is well supported.
